(LEXINGTON, KY – April 26, 2019) – Lexington Theological Seminary is proud to announce Rev. Dr. Leah D. Schade, Assistant Professor of Preaching and Worship, has been awarded a $30,000 grant for her project, “Dialogue in the ‘Purple Zone’: Pedagogies for Civil Discourse in Online and On-site Settings.”
Research at Lexington Theological Seminary has identified several common themes through interviews with bi-vocational ministers. One of these themes involves the way bi-vocational pastoral leadership develops within congregations.
Lexington Theological Seminary has awarded scholarships – one well-established, one new – to two students. Clayton Summers has been awarded the 2018-19 Presidential Scholarship. The LTS Scholarship Committee traditionally awards this full-tuition scholarship to a Master of Divinity student who shows promise both academically and in capacity for ministry.
Pastors and their families are human, too. They have the same realities to deal with in their lives as the members of their congregation. This webinar will explore healthy and unique ways laity can help meet the needs of their pastors.
