About Master of Divinity Degree (MDiv)

The Master of Divinity at LTS emphasizes the congregation as your primary place of learning.  Rooting you in your local church – where you live – means you will learn first-hand what it means to live the pastoral life. When you finish your M.Div. at LTS, you will be prepared for the work of ministry.

  • Master of Divinity

“The faculty at LTS are highly driven intelligent people seeking to grow in their fields, and yet they are equally passionate about every student. Both the classroom and on-line encounters with my instructors were life changing. “

    Edward Cushingberry

How It Works

The 12-month calendar system means that you can choose the months you take the courses. You may take as few as one class per month or take more when your schedule permits. Classes are offered each month for half-credit, one credit or two credits each. A half-credit course will last two weeks; a one-credit course will last four weeks; a two-credit course will last eight weeks. The short online courses require approximately 10-12 hours of weekly study per course. While completed online, this works is highly interactive.
