Anniversary trip to Turkey and Greece
To kick off the 150th Anniversary of the founding of the Lexington Theological Seminary in 2015, Dr. Jerry Sumney will be offering a travel tour of Turkey and Greece in January 2014. The tour, which will take us through the “Churches of the Revelation and the Footsteps of Paul,” departs on January 14 and returns on January 28, 2014.
The 14-day tour begins in Izmir, Turkey and concludes in Athens, Greece. An overview of the itinerary is below. The tour is open to current students for course credit, along with alumni and friends.
The tour cost is $4,175 from Lexington, KY. Features included in the tour cost are:
TRANSPORTATION: Air transportation is included from Lexington by economy class based on the non-refundable advance purchase excursion fare. The air ticket is not refundable if the air reservations are cancelled within 90days of departure. Land transportation is by private motorcoach.
HOTELS: Accommodations are in 3 and 4 star hotels based on sharing twin bedded rooms with private bath. Supplement for a single room throughout is $693.00
MEALS: Breakfast and dinner daily are included throughout the tour. Coffee and tea are included with breakfast, but no drinks are included with dinner.
TRANSFERS: All transfers between airports and hotels are included as well as the handling of one average sized suitcase.
SIGHTSEEING: All sightseeing as outlined in the itinerary is included with the services of English-speaking Government Licensed guides.
TIPS AND TAXES: All tips to guides, drivers, hotel staff and for baggage handling are included. Also air and hotel services charges and taxes are included.
VISA: A visa is required for all U.S. citizens. The current cost is $20.00 at arrival in Turkey or via internet
