Making Seminary Affordable:
Our students tell us that earning a degree from LTS is very affordable. The seminary offers scholarships to offset the cost of tuition. Additionally, students may apply for federal financial aid (see below).

Scholarships:
Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and United Church of Christ Masters level students are eligible for a 50% tuition scholarship if they are Under Care/In Discernment in their home region.  This scholarship does NOT apply to students at the doctoral level or to any student not earning credit.”

Financial Aid:
Federal financial aid may be available to qualifying students who file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in the form of grants and/or student loans. File your FAFSA online at www.FAFSA.ed.gov and request a copy of the processed results be sent to LTS by entering the school code G01971.

For additional financial aid and scholarship information contact Windy Kidd (859) 280-1237, or by email, wkidd@lextheo.edu.

NOTE:  A $50 fee is assessed for a course dropped after the first day of the month prior to the month in which the course is offered.

  • For example, if a student registers for a course that begins May 2 or May 16 it may be dropped any time up through April 1 without penalty. If the course was dropped after April 1 a $50 fee would be assessed.
