Email is an important aspect of student life and all email from the Seminary will use this avenue of communication.  We provide several ways for you to access your Lextheo.edu email account.

Webmail is one very convenient way.  It is available at https://webmail.lextheo.edu.

If you want more access, your lextheo.edu account can be used with many different programs including: Office Outlook, Outlook Express, Mac Mail, Windows Mail and Thunderbird.  You can also access your email using websites: Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo Mail and more.

It will be your responsibility to setup the configuration and to make sure it is working with the software or website of your choice.  This configuration takes place inside your software or the website you are using.

Below are the server settings you will need.  For some examples with screen-shots, explore the links to right.  Remember to select the use of authentication when logging in to the outgoing server.  Applications will use different terms for this option but all will make it available.

For IMAP use:

• Incoming mail server: mail.lextheo.edu
• Outgoing mail server: mail.lextheo.edu
• Incoming server (IMAP4) port: 993
• Outgoing server (SMTP) port: 587

For POP3 use:

• Incoming mail server: mail.lextheo.edu
• Outgoing mail server: mail.lextheo.edu
• Incoming server (POP3) port: 995
• Outgoing server (SMTP) port: 587
