Welcome to our website!

Hi, I’m Barton Hanna, Director of Admissions at Lexington Theological Seminary. I am pleased that you are interested in LTS and what makes it such a wonderful place. I know that choosing a seminary is a big decision and one that should not be made lightly.

Please take time to explore our website and see all that we have to offer in graduate theological education. We have an outstanding faculty, generous financial aid, excellent and affordable student housing, and a wide variety of opportunities for meaningful field education. The information provided hopefully will begin to tell the story of our unique seminary and start you on your journey to becoming a member of our seminary community.

We are located in the heart of Kentucky’s Bluegrass Region, the historic heartland of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and just south of downtown Lexington. Nearby are many historic Disciples congregations as well as historic Cane Ridge Meeting House.

While brochures and websites can certainly help you learn more about the various seminaries you are considering, we recommend you visit our campus as the best way to learn about LTS and experience our family. I invite you to complete our Campus Visit Planning Form and schedule a campus visit so that you can see all that we have to offer. While you are here, you will have the opportunity to meet with faculty members, visit classes, and get to know current LTS students.
