Accreditation Information
Lexington Theological Seminary has been accredited by the two leading agencies for theological education:
The Association of Theological Schools (ATS)
Lexington Theological Seminary is a charter member of The Association of Theological Schools, the official accrediting agency for theological institutions in the United States and Canada. In 2006, the Association reaccredited the Seminary for another 10 years after the usual institutional self-evaluation and Association review.

Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)
The Seminary is also accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The accreditation is for the Master of Divinity, Master of Arts, Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies and Doctor of Ministry degrees. SACS also reaffirmed its accreditation of LTS in 2006 after an extensive review.
