Dr. Jerry Sumney, Professor of Biblical Studies at the Lexington Theological Seminary, has a new book published by Fortress Press in 2009, called The Bible, an Introduction. 

Dr. Margie Ralph, Director of the Program for Roman Catholic Students, also has a new book out.  It is A Walk Through the New Testament : an Introduction for Catholics published by Paulist Press in 2009.  In addition, Dr. Ralph is a contributor to The Catholic Faith and Family Bible, having written the section and book introductions.  Just released in January 2010, it is published by HarperCollins Publishers.  Lastly, Dr. Ralph wrote  “Scripture insights for ordinary time” in At Home with the Word, 2010 published by Liturgy Training Publications.

Dr. O. Wesley Allen, Associate Professor of Homiletics and Worship, has just completed his work editing an 8 volume series of introductory textbooks on preaching for Fortress Press entitled Elements of Preaching.  The series includes Determining the Form that was written by Dr. Allen.

All of these publications by our faculty will be on display in the the LTS Library for the month of February.
